RLabs conducted a mobile survey to 6,812 respondents where they found that 85% respondents were between 18-35yrs. Females outnumbered the males in responding, Nokia was still number 1 closely followed by Samsung and BlackBerry. The functional uses of the mobiles were to buy airtime& electricity. Majority of the users spent 4-6 hrs on their phones. 54% thought mobile advertising could potentially be useful to them. 51% look at the ads if they interest them and 66% would click on mobile ad offering services: education/health/informative.
