Rwanda: the informal sector expands business with mobiles technology

The following article is particularly interesting because it looks at how micro entrepreneurs’ majority being in the informal industry are making a living and expanding their businesses using mobile phones. The case study is in Rwanda-a very poor country with low literacy rates. Mobile technology shows that the gap in business can be bridged by anybody and no longer serves the elite and educated.
