This reading looks at newsroom convergence in South Africa. It takes the case-study approach, looking at Die Burger and The Sunday Times newspapers. Verwejj describes Quinns theories on newsroom convergence, and then says how well the 2 newspapers are practically implementing the theory. The Times newsroom is conducive to multimedia convergence in that it recognises the importance of teamwork, but Die Burger does a better job of practically applying Quinns theory on newsroom convergence.
