Top 7 Reasons Why Most ICT4D Projects Fail

By Dr Clint Rogers

This video features African university professors, and ordinary people, giving their views on why ICT projects in Africa fail. ICT4D projects do not build on the existing knowledge of the community. Projects designed by donor countries are, at times, not relevant to the community which leads to them not being sustainable once the donor funding has run out.
